Meet Izzy the Education Support Dog at Mt View HS. Izzy’s job is to support students with complex emotional needs and to help improve their overall wellbeing and engagement. She excels at improving self regulation of student behaviour and increasing attendance rates. Other things Izzy is awesome at –

• Attends classes with students each morning who are very anxious
• Helps to reduce anxiety
• Helps improve attendance rates
• Works with the school counsellor in deescalating students in times of stress and anger
• Used in the library when senior students are studying for their exams

Izzy is empathic, very kind, loves to eat scallops and is just adorable.
