Many young people in our community are experiencing unprecedented challenges with their mental health and require support from safe and effective adults in the community around them.
This is why we’ve developed and committed to providing ‘Coach 2 Cope – Families and Carers’ for free.
It’s designed to help families and carers by coaching simple methods on recognising triggers that elevate distress in young people and how to best respond, in any situation. You will also learn how to help the young people you support develop coping and resilience skills.
The program is evidence based and developed by Dr Stephen Spencer (PhD), a father of three and child and adolescent mental health nurse who has helped thousands of families by using the methods in this program.
